Star Forged

Trilogy gets completed in this book and the chase is still on as new enemies emerge and all of them are looking for the same thing. Terry Maggert and J.N. Chaney are the two masterminds behind this series. The two authors have tried to infuse more and more energy into the series because the fans wanted this to happen. Also, such stories always demand action and thrill as their basic ingredient.

Dash and Leira were seen working on something big from the start of this part. They were actually repairing a big scanner through which they wanted to inspect the world around them in more detail. They were of the view that there are some enemies that are still working in plain sight but no scanner has been able to detect them.

However, when the scanner is repaired and starts working, the discovery is unique and horrifying as well. There were clear signs of an old war in space after which only debris was left. Jeffrey Kafer speeds up the narration at this point when the human colony starts investigating for something useful. Meanwhile, a massive ship crashes quite near the colony and everyone takes it as an ultimatum for the upcoming storm.

Hex Division and The Black Gate cannot be left aside or untouched because they are written with equal strength. The writer never tries to sideline one of his novels for the sake of another rather every novel is a rival to the previous one. Most of the time it becomes difficult for us to judge which story is better than the other and which can be left untouched for some time.
