A mere eighteen year old girl wanted a life of romance and love and she never thought that she would end up playing a key role in the World War. Alexandra was presented to King George V and it was her fate that brought her there she thought that she would be serving in the royal palace for the rest of her life. Soon the war started and the people of her country thought that she could be a very good spy because she was good in English, French, and German at the same time.

She could easily penetrate into the enemy lines because she can talk and dress like them quite efficiently. Once again Danielle Steel has created a splendid character who finally gets the dream job in which she is able to utilize her skills up to the maximum level. Alex’s family and even her boyfriend never get the chance to know that what she was doing.

In reality, the young girl takes part in dangerous missions which help her country on a number of occasions. This is the story of a hero who is not known by anyone as she had to keep her true job hidden all the time.

Samuel Roukin has provided a really polished voice to the story and without any doubt, the narrator has improved in skill over the years. For those who have a craze for more action packed stories, Fall from Grace or Without a Trace will prove to be stupendous. Stories of this type, take us to a different world where things don’t happen in an ordinary way. The heroes in such stories give us a new enthusiasm that can be applied in real life.
