Long ago in the heavens, the demons and gods fought a deadly battle after which the demons were banished from the heavens forever. Demons in a miserable state came to the land and here they found mankind very weak as compared to them. So they started slaying mankind in order to get control of the land. When the gods saw all of this happening in the world below they sent a hero named Ramrowan in them.
Then the human race under the control of Ramrowan starts prospering and the descendants of the hero continue to rule the land after his death. Ages have passed now and the people don’t believe on gods and demons anymore, also the descendants of Ramrowan have become corrupt with greed so the people of the land just get rid of them. Larry Correia adds another hero with the name Ashok Vadal in a new age who is the supporter of the Age of Law. Ashok brings law and order on the land but later he gets the hint that he has made a serious mistake. House of Assassins or Destroyer of Worlds could form a nice combination with this book with all the heroes and godly figures involved. Tim Gerard Reynolds goes on with the routine voice in the narration which has of course error free.
