Skavenslayer is a science fiction and fantasy book. It is the second chapter in Gotrek and Felix: Warhammer Chronicles. It is written by William King. He is also known in the writers’ fraternity by the name of Bill King. He is a renowned author from Scotland. His most notable work is included in the Warhammer 40,000 and Workshop’s Warhammer novel series. Vampireslayer is another brilliant novel from the author and the same series. These two chapters along with the Dragonslayer novel together would make a very enjoyable and memorable listening experience.
The audio narration of the book is done by Jonathan Keeble. It turned out to be a 10/10 performance and even the expert narrators wouldn’t find any flaw in this performance. Between being desperate and adventurous for money, both Gotrek and Felix worked in Nuln as the sewerjacks. They had very little idea that the skaven had lurked within the darkness while having the intention to completely tear down that huge city.
Both the Gotrek and Felix were regarded as the unsung heroes of the Empire. Or, were they nothing more than any common murderers or thieves? The truth probably was somewhere between that and it all depends completely on whom you ask about them.
Things moved further ahead and the Horned Rat servants were all resolute to the coup that mainstay of humanity. While fighting against such types of forces, what could be the probable threat that could be posed by a couple of hard-bitten adventurers? The author introduced some fascinating and hilarious characters in this series and this novel. You will be able to witness the POV of different ratmen characters in this chapter, apart from the two heroes.
