This is the novel about three teenage friends whose life and personality changed after an incident that rocked the entire neighborhood as well. All three of them were waiting for the movie to start and they had their tickets in hand. Not only were these three rather everyone on the street in a funky mood.
The wanderers were selling their things and the people were also gossiping about different issues of daily things. Then out of nowhere shooters came to the place and started targeting the people standing on the street. The people ran for their lives and started finding shelter in different places. For eight minutes, the firing continued and after that, the shooters were finally shot to the ground.
One of the teenagers later became a lawyer the other was unable to control the thoughts in her mind so she started taking interest in the field of art. She started creating artwork for the purpose of catharsis. So life was coming to a normal state for these young people but their third friend was not feeling the same way.
His mind was working in the opposite direction and he was constantly thinking that how so many people were able to find a safe shelter. Nora Roberts has shown how the same incident affects different people differently. It is our true elf that comes to the surface during such situations. Don’t try to match Dark Witch and Year One with this book because the characters in this book are borrowed from the real world. Also, the incidents are of the type that can take place in the real world.
