Shelter for Adeline is the seventh chapter of the Badge of Honor: Texas Heroes novel series. The book is a contemporary romance novel which is written by Susan Stoker. She is an accomplished and highly appreciated novelist of contemporary romance novels. Her novel, Shielding Sierra is a testimony of her great writing skills. On top of that, she also did fantastic writing for her Shielding Ember novel.
The audio narration of this novel is done by Erin Mallon. It was a very exciting performance that will keep the listeners engaged throughout. You will love this performance and there will be no complaints at all.
Adeline Reynolds was saddled with the job that she hated and there was her detestable boss whom she liked even less. She might use a break. But, it doesn’t look likely for her to get one that day. Coco, her service dog was alerting her all the time that she was about to have an epileptic seizure. Her extremely frustrating blind date left her to take and deal with all things on her own. There comes Dean, the firefighter to the scene. He escorted her to the fire station which was just nearby. It was that place where she could suffer through her torment safe from any injury and inquisitive eyes.
Dean wasn’t expecting them to find The One. But, he got blindsided by the gorgeous and brave woman Adeline. Soon, Dean started to develop feelings for her and their life changed.
The book tells a very fascinating story which is about people with their actual challenges in life. There are many interesting things that you will find with the lead characters. Overall, it will be a very enjoyable listen.
