Shattered

Shattered is the penultimate chapter of Broken Trilogy series. The book is a contemporary romance novel and it is written by J. L. Drake. She is a Canadian born author who later moved on to USA and had a flourishing writing career there. The author offered excelled romance and mystery thriller stories. In mystery thriller category, Darkness Follows is her best book. In contemporary romance category, Mended is a good novel from the author to look for.

Elizabeth Klett is the narrator of this book. It was not an impressive performance. The narrator clearly struggled to produce male voices and that was a big letdown of this audiobook.

After witnessing the killing of her love, the prime character Savannah of this novel really wanted to finish it off. All this was topped with the extremely heartbreaking loss of their child in pregnancy. Then she is provided with another chance at love. Very sadly, even when life provides you with some great second chances, it just does not follow that the different things would work just in the same way as you want.

There are a few lies which could be extremely painful to experience and move on from. What could be the worst thing in life than to be broken? This is something that you will experience in this book with the life of Savannah.

Shattered is a very gripping tale and you would hold your breath throughout the narration of this book. The novel is full of several page-turning events. It has got suspense and it is fully action-packed. A little better narration could make it an unforgettable experience for the listeners.
