Scavengers are the second book in the Darkthorn Academy novel series. It is a science fiction and fantasy book which is authored by Robyn Wideman. He is a super author of teen and young adult fantasy and science fiction novels. If you take a look at the books written by the author then Apocalypse Online will come out as one of his best. Isle of the Undead is also a pretty good one by Robyn Wideman.
The audio narration of Scavengers is done by Vikas Adam. He was spot on with his performance. You will like him in becoming the soulful voice of the characters of this book.
The Menacing Misfits were once again back.
After finishing up his very first year successfully at the Darkthorn Academy, Jack made a return back to Sunder with Stannerios, who was his new friend. Stann and Jack together had the intention to thoroughly enjoy their summer while gearing up for their second year in the academy. But, they were not believed to be safe even in Sunder, just as they dealt with assassins and thugs there. When Stann and Jack finally made their return back to the academy and reunited with their team, they came to learn that things have changed a lot. There was a new headmaster appointed there with drastic changes to the rules of quester. Will they be able to survive their second year at the Darkthorn Academy or will they opt for a newer path to success?
This is a very interesting book with all its characters and storyline. The narration by Vikas Adam received a few negative comments as well, but in reality, it was a very good performance.
