Terry succeeded in saving his life but the cost was quite heavy and now he has responsibilities that he must fulfill. Vicereine is now dead and after her death, the city which was under her thumb has started crumbling. The city has been attacked by different enemies from all sides. Everyone wants to get his hands on the templates which have powers that cannot be easily tamed. Twilight Zone agents and the all-powerful dragon want the templates and Terry thinks that it is his turn to protect the templates.
The chaos started because of Terry so he has to save the lives of the innocent people now. With a beautiful girlfriend and some strong allies, Terry thinks that he can deal with the matter in a flash. All the predictions and the estimate of the enemy’s power proved wrong. So Terry started thinking about using the templates but controlling power of such a magnitude is not possible for an ordinary being.
Terry is special in the sense that he has an immortal soul but with several lives on the line, he might not be the right person for the job. Mask of the Template: A Monster Girl Harem Fantasy and Prayer of the Fallen (A Monster Girl Harem Fantasy) provide evidence of Cebelius’ genius as an author.
The author never misses any details about the characters and the plot which he creates with special attention. Tess Irondale ends the narration of this novel in a style that cannot be copied by anyone. The narrator has developed this quality over the years and she knows how to utilize it to perfection.
