Rocky Mountain Heat

Rocky Mountain Heat is the first installment in the Six Pack Ranch novel series. This contemporary romance novel is written by Vivian Arend. She is from Canada and loves to write romantic suspense, paranormal romance and contemporary romance novels. A Hero’s Christmas Hope is rated among her best novels. Her A Firefighter’s Christmas Gift novel is not a bad choice at all.

The narration of this novel is done by Tatiana Sokolov. There was nothing wrong with this performance of her. All her voices for different male and female characters were easily distinguishable.

Blake is old enough to know the fact that acting on impulse may result in nothing good, but a huge heap of trouble. However, when trouble is someone like a blonde wearing a western hat then what the man could do? Wanting to have that sweet girl with thin long legs is just wrong, who lives next door? The most responsible thing to do in this situation is to ensure keeping his hands off it. Jaxi has got some other plans for the hands of Blake and also for his heart. She might have thought about him once as an elder brother. But, that was quite long ago actually.

Jaxi is quite grown-up girl now and was also set to convince him that she is her ideal match. But, he was not able to see anything beyond that ‘do not touch’ signboard that seems to be hanging around her neck all the time. But, things changed and the heat made them come openly with their real emotions…

This book was lacking a good plot. It had a few steamy scenes and that’s it. The narration was the only good thing that will keep you going till the end.
