Rescuing Rayne

Rescuing Rayne is a contemporary romance novel. It is the first chapter Delta Force Heroes novel series which is written by Susan Stoker. She is a very talented writer of romance novels where one of her most liked novels is Shielding Devyn. Another novel with fairly good comments which is also written by Susan Stoker is the Finding Lexie novel.

Stella Bloom has given her voice for the narration of this novel. She is undoubtedly a very top-rated performer in audiobooks. She performed as per the expectation of the audience.

Rayne Jackson in the capacity of a flight attendant is quite normal with the cancellation. However, she ever thought about the latest one that would lead her to a tumultuous London tour. She was accompanied by a very handsome stranger there. She had a life-changing night with that good-looking stranger in his bed. One evening was all that he could offer her and Rayne was greedy enough to grab it.

Coming home after another mission, Keane never had planned to seduce a lady but Rayne for him was way too sweet to resist. Being part of the Delta Force actually means to lie about the real identity which was so unfortunate for him, considering Rayne. He also wanted that to continue but he couldn’t. So, he slipped away the following morning having all the regrets, which was a new first in his life.

But, they met again a few months later…

The storyline of this book is very promising. However, the character of the female lead seems to be quite one-dimensional. The first half is slow but it picked up a good pace in the second half. Stella Bloom was at her usual best with the vocal performance.
