Requiem For Medusa Audiobook
Galaxy gets under the control of an organization named the Guild after which there happens to be peace everywhere. Under the rule of this one governing body the rights of every living soul are safe. It’s an ideal scenario but the Guild has some weaknesses too, there are places in the galaxy where it has failed to bring law and order. In that outer rim in the galaxy, the outlaws run free and they snatch whatever they like when something or someone passes from their domain.
Among those lawless creatures there are killers who have never faced trials and they think they are untouchable. Instead of a proper force, the Guild selects Tyrus Rechs for the job this time. Tyrus happens to be a man who works for money and the Guild offers him a lot of money for this single mission.
The man says “yes” without a second thought because the mission not only provides him a lot of money but also a chance to get back to the place and people responsible for the death of his colleague. Tyrus wants revenge so the mission becomes quite personal for him and he wants to get the job done at any rate.
Jason Anspach and Nick Cole paint a personal battle and for the fans of Forgotten Ruin and Legacies it would be different in taste at the beginning. Later the mission goes big and mysterious in the same way and Ray Porter gives it an equally grave voice through narration. Most of the initial chapters was about the past of Tyrus which was essential to create a base.
