Kirsten Potter does a great job narrating Dianne’s books. She represents all characters to the best of her ability. Even her male accent isn’t bad. The best thing about this audiobook is that everyone gets their distinct voice.
Bethany is helping her brother track two figures outside of Houston but the trouble is waiting for her. The mission doesn’t go according to plan and Beth finds herself seriously injured. When the smoke clears, Beth is not only in another place but she finds herself in an entirely different time.
As Robert is tracking down the vandals, a peculiar woman appears in front of him seemingly out of nowhere. She thinks that Robert and his men are a medieval reenactment group. She thinks she has gone mad when she witnesses the castles. It seems that the woman has arrived from the future. Can she find a home in the past?
The storyline is great and doesn’t include as much sex as the last one, which plays in its favor. This story is more about the plot and doesn’t give in to the demands of the few.
