Rebellious Desire is a contemporary romance novel. This standalone novel is written by Julie Garwood. She is the bestselling author who is rated amongst the best fiction novelists of America. And, why not, when she could make us enjoy with novels as good as her The Wedding. After this, her The Bride novel will also be worth your time and money.
The narration of Rebellious Desire is done by Anne Flosnik. The narration was quite at the average level. It didn’t help the audience that much with an easy listen but it didn’t harm the story too. The issue was mainly with her pronunciation and sometimes narrating it whispering voice which was irritating.
Jered Marcus Benton among all the dukes of England was the most handsome and the wealthiest as well. He was also quite arrogant with all the natural and worldly possessions of his. He was the Duke of Bradford. Among all of the ladies of London, he really wanted to have the obedience of only one woman who was Caroline Richmond.
She was an absolute beauty who was from Boston. She was a fiery spirit and had a very mysterious past. Caroline Richmond was looking up to winning his much-needed lasting love. But, Benton would never bend in front of any woman. But, things changed all of a sudden when a deadly event brought the quite close to each other. They were united against a common enemy now. They had an immense desire in danger which changed into love.
The story is good but the narration was average. The happy fans of Garwood couldn’t ask for anything more than what this novel has got to offer.
