Reached is the third chapter in the Matched novel series. It is a Teen & Young Adult romance novel. The book is written by Ally Condie. She is a productive writer of YA and middle-grade fiction. She went to the bestselling list in the New York Times with her Matched novel. The sequels of this novel including Reached and Crossed are also among the bestselling list of NYT.
Jack Riccobono narrated the Reached chapter. Although, he wasn’t good at changing his voice too much still it was a good performance. He had a nice and clear accent which is easy to understand. His voice was also able to convey emotions just as they are intended.
Ky and Cassia finally found that what exactly they were looking for. It was after their time of leaving the Society and searching for each other and the Rising. Ly in this time has been put outside its borders. But, nothing went as planned or as it was predicted. Too soon, you will experience the veil lifting and all the things shifted once again.
In this thrilling conclusion to the trilogy, you will find Cassia reconciling the challenges of her life. She is looking for a future that she never have even imagined to be possible. She is also seen honoring love without whom she cannot live.
The first two chapters of the trilogy set the bar rather quite high. The Reached novel did well but failed to reach the caliber of Matched and Crossed novels from the trilogy. Nevertheless, as an individual, Reached is a worth attempting novel for all fantasy lovers. It wouldn’t disappoint you.
