They were looking to investigate a vicious ring of smugglers who were moving the much-needed arcane technology through stealing, which was within the Imperium.
Just as they went further with their investigation, it all became evident that a very terrible and cruel plot was unraveling. The different ancient machines contained all of the unthinkable. In that situation. Ravenor must look to call on all of his wits to thwart the conspirators. This was needed to be done well ahead of the ultimate secrets associated with the Chaos were laid bare. Things start to get heated up and exciting for the listeners from there onwards.
The novel has great writing, great characters, a great story, and great narration. In short, everything is just perfect about this book and it will be worth your time.
