Protecting Dakota is the first chapter in Sleeper SEALs’ novel series. This contemporary romance title is written by Susan Stoker and coauthored by Suspense Sisters. Susan Stoker is the favorite author of many fans of the romance genre. She has given some outstanding novels where you will find Shielding Sierra as quite a good one. On top of that, her Shielding Ember got a lot of appreciation as well.
The audio narration of this novel is done by Stella Bloom. She has given her voice in several other novels that Susan Stoker has written. Almost every time, she got a lot of appreciation for her performance and this title will be no different in this regard.
The Sleeper SEALs are the ones who were the ex-US Navy SEALs and were recruited by the new counter-terror division of the CIA. This was for handling the solo dark missions for combating terrorism in the USA.
The life of Dakota was full of nightmares. The leader of a terrorist group became quite obsessed with her and was determined to have her as his wife. She had to pin all of her hopes on the ex-SEAL while being on the run.
Slade was recruited just recently for joining a sleeper SEAL team that was tasked with fighting terrorism on the soil of the USA. Slade had the help of a few friends from the Special Forces. Keeping her safe was a very difficult task than anyone could ever imagine. The easier part was to locate the woman who could identify the leader of the terrorist group.
The book did exceptionally well and the author exceeded the expectations of the audience once again. It is well written with well-developed characters. The narration was outstanding too.
