A long time ago there was a book with immense powers linked to it and everyone on the land wanted to have it. So the book was hidden to bring peace in the world but all of us know fully that such things cannot be remained hidden for a long time. Now the book has been found once again and according to the legend whoever will possess the book is destined to possess the powers of the Witch-King.
At the same time, there are threats too i.e if you don’t use the book in the right way it might cost you your life too. But the craze or lust for power does not stop the characters from taking the risk of their life. R.A. Salvatore between all of this madness introduces two heroes in the land of Bloodstone. One is a human being named Artemis and the other is the dark elf named Jarlaxle.
Together the two approach the land for their reason and then they confront the local evils of the land. The world of Bloodstone has never seen warriors of such powers and potential so it is time to end all the evil present on the land. Victor Bevine narrates the voyage of two heroes who had their mission in their minds but then they confronted something which they had to destroy at any rate.
Like Archmage and The Legacy, this book has superb fight scenes, the blood constantly keeps on dripping from the swords of the two heroes as they battle their way out of this mess. All the time the two never shift from their goal at all and work with a single focus.
