Possession is the third book in The Steel Brothers Saga. It is written by Helen Hardt. It is a contemporary romance novel that tells the story of loving a troubled person. It is a story of persevering through problems with love, sticking to each other even against tough odds. Helen is a capable writer who has been featured on numerous bestseller lists. Check out other books from her such as Cherished and Awakened.
The narration of this book has been done by Sebastian York and Neva Navarre. Sebastian is amazing but the same can’t be said for Neva. She comes off as annoying sometimes. Considering the whole package, it’s passable, owing to the voice of the male narrator.
Jade Roberts loves Talon Steel to no end. And this time, she’s determined to help him with the demons that haunt him. She continues her investigation on the Steels, and this lands her in a lot of problems. Dangerous foes arrive on the scene that had previously been shrouded in history. Talon has to face his deep fears if he wants to survive the coming days. Both are in a lot of trouble because of him. The road ahead is treacherous and slippery. He has to expose his rawest scars so that he can heal. Only then, they might be able to survive.
This series has been a nail-biter from start to finish. A resolution was promised in the last book, and it appears to be fulfilled. Some may disagree though, as the ending is still inconclusive. Talon and Jade are amazing together. You will have to sit through endless love scenes though. Just as a heads up since there is more sex action than plot development sometimes.
