Aiden Snow and Eva Amar are the two narrators of this audiobook. They have done a solid job and hardly disappoint. They are simply easy to listen to as they narrate the story of Lucian and Magdalena. Eva did a phenomenal Lena and Aiden gave Lucian a deep and raspy voice.
Magdalena’s coven has remained hidden in the shadows for many centuries. They have been avoiding the real world, hiding from other creatures that inhabit the world. Their powers were locked by a curse, which was meant to protect them from being found. They also found protection in the Colville National Forest.
However, the past catches up with her. A game begins and no one is safe as a result of it. Someone is coming for Lena and they don’t plan to play around. The monster they’ve been running from for centuries might have finally found them.
Lena wonders how far this game can go. How far will she be able to take it before he destroys everything she cares about? She has to save the people before her past ends up destroying her.
