Word “Epic” is the only word that settles nicely with the series which is finally coming to an end with this seventh book. Shifters have finally decided to break all the rules and cross all the borders. The days of peace are finally over and there would be blood flowing on the city streets very soon if Lexi would not be able to come up with something good.
Lexi has kept things quiet for a long time between the clans but things are slipping out of her control now. She cannot stop those maniacs who have decided to start a war. Austin is still with her and he too is in favor of peace but they have to work together this time while keeping their personal feelings for each other aside.
The pack which Lexi has under her control is also threatened from all sides and they have no other way except to fight their way out of trouble. Austin’s pack faces the same kind of threats and the rogues might not show mercy towards their kind even. Dannika Dark rhythmically wrote this series. First the author introduced the pack of Lexi and Austin in the initial parts then the author painted the issues which have been developing among them for centuries.
Now it is time to solve the issues of the kind Sterling and Ravenheart through war or love. Love seems to be disappearing and sirens of war can be heard on the borders of Texas. Nicole Poole narrates the final tragedy in highly dramatic manner as several of the big guns go down in war.
