The Gray Man is the one whom the people from the government and the mafias look for when they have a big task at hand. He is an expert in getting to his targets without a scratch but this has troubled him a lot. He was an assassin working for the CIA in the past but he was betrayed by his higher authorities after which he just left the job and now he tries to stay out of trouble and sight at the same time.
He does not want to meet his friends or enemies because he knows that he is just a tool to kill all of them. Still, his friends and foes come to him for help or sometimes for big missions in which he is not interested anymore. A Russian arms merchant who used to be a friend of the Court Gentry i.e the Gray Man comes to him with a mission in hand. He asks Gentry to kill Sudan’s president at any cost and there is no option of saying no at any step.
Court Gentry takes on the mission and he thinks that he would have the chance to escape at the end of the mission but the CIA has other plans for him. The CIA also blackmails Court Gentry to play by their rules if he wants to stay alive. So Court Gentry has to play with fire at both ends if he wants to stay alive and this is what he is good at.
It is Jay Snyder once again who has blessed The Gray Man and Dead Eye with his voice. Snyder knows well how to deal with such action packed novels by Mark Greaney. These novels are rock solid in plot and there are superb action scenes that keep on exciting the audience.
