Sherrilyn Kenyon’s works were never without vampires in the past and most people assumed that the novels will never come with a new routine. Over the years this routine made the impact of the stories a little dull so the author had to come with something new for the old fans. Adding an Amazonian warrior was the right thing to do because it develops a nice balance in the story.
Samia has fought very hard for the safety of the land and she has remained successful. She follows a proper code i.e never show mercy on your enemies and even if you are dying you have to get rid of your enemies as many as you can. This was the way that was taught to the Amazonian women and they have done well in the past, the evil which has come to the land this time is not very easy to eradicate. Samia cannot do everything on her own so she decides to take help.
On the other hand the shapeshifter Dev has been fulfilling the same task for the last two hundred years and he has never seen any kind of devil such as this one which is here to claim everything. Samia and Dev come together for this mission although they are not allowed by tradition to work together.
Shadow Fallen and The Dream-Hunter were in the same old routine so as a new change you can select this book with an Amazonian warrior in it. Holter Graham tackles the female character very efficiently although there were doubts on the narration before the launching the performance has satisfied everyone.
