Nemesis Games is a hard science fiction novel. It is the fifth chapter in The Expanse novel series. The book is written by James S. A. Corey. He is an author, screenwriter, comic book writer, and TV producer from the USA. If you take a look at his novels then Leviathan Wakes will come up as his best title. Moreover, Caliban’s War is another sensational book that Corey has written.
Jefferson Mays did the narration of the Nemesis Games. He is back in this chapter as the narrator of this series and the audience welcomed his return. He gave a top-quality performance and made the novel sound even better.
In this novel of the Expanse series, you will find the crew of the Rocinante driven apart. Just as they struggled to survive, the inner planets fell victim to the catastrophic plan of the enemy.
As much as a thousand worlds have opened and the greatest ever land rush in the entire history of mankind has started. As the colonists started to leave wave after wave, the power structures associated with the old known solar system started to buckle.
Ships started to vanish without a trace and the private armies were set up in a secretive manner. The last of the protomolecule sample was stolen. Those terrorist attacks which were once considered to be impossible went on this time to bring the inner planets down to their knees. Many sins from the past were returning to take an astonishingly terrible price.
Nemesis Games is a book worth many listens. It is not just expertly written by Corey but it is beautifully narrated as well by Mays.
