Necropolis is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is the third book of Gaunt’s Ghosts series. The novel is written by Dan Abnett. He has done some considerable work in science fiction and there are plenty of novels to prove his worth as a good writer. Any random novel from the author will make a good read but his Horus Rising is highly recommended. Apart from this, his First and Only is another book as good as any other considerable title from the author.
The audio narration of this book is done by Toby Longworth. He impressed his old and new fans with another sensational performance. He paces this novel very well and made the characters appealing too.

He was strengthened by the Astra Militarum forces and spearheaded by Col. Commissar Gaunt. The treachery and the bitter rivalries threatened to derail the Vervunhive’s defense. It was then on Gaunt to take the command of the forces of Imperial and hearth victory from an almost certain defeat.
This is a novel that you will binge listen to for sure. The writing is top class and so is the narration. There is every good reason for you to pick this novel above other options you have right now. The many listeners identified this novel to be the actual beginning of the Ghosts story. So, it is highly recommended.
