She has proved that no one can deal with the vampire issue better than her. Death of a Darklord had magic in it and this is about the legendary vampire hunter.
The common thing is that the novels have ultra-smart female characters who are there to save the day. When this series started, Anita started a war against the vampires and she thought that she would be able to win the war but the hold is slipping. She has fought with vampires who were able to exist in the bright daylight and then came the zombies who were uncontrollable to some extent. Here Laurell K. Hamilton has described the end of everything.
The human race can finally end because the vampires have remained successful in gaining supremacy over them. Anita Blake has to play the big game in which she can easily lose her life too without getting any kind of positive result. A strong voice was required for this book and Kimberly Alexis has provided it accurately.
If Crimson Death was spooky for the fans then this will be scary that can haunt every listener during the night. People will lose their life for sure in this awesome novel and Anita must keep in mind that her life is the most precious one as she is the only one who can get the job done. Failing is not an option because if she fails then there would be nothing left to save.
