My Soul to Lose is a prequel to Soul Screamers novel series. It is a teen and YA romance novel. Rachel Vincent has written this book. She is a passionate writer with a solid foundation in literature with her expertise as an English teacher. She gave us some worthy novels of reading or listening which include My Soul to Take and With All My Soul.
Amanda Ronconi is a talented narrator and her voice is suitable for such young adult novels. Listeners felt that she gave her very best once again for this novel.
Shopping in a lavish mall with a friend means a fun day always. But, Kaylee Cavanaugh gets under the control of a panic attack and started screaming. She wasn’t able to control that attack on her own. All of her fears were exposed there. It could well be the worst day of her life. But, only until she finds herself in the psychiatric ward once she gained consciousness. 
She tried hard to convince the medical staff that she is absolutely fine. She was saying this despite seeing a mysterious shadow that was building all around another patient in the ward. It was urging her to scream again and again.
Everyone around her was sure that she is crazy and has lost it completely. But, Lydia was the only exception. She was a patient in that ward having some other sort of special abilities.
My Soul to Lose is a shot and sweet tale. There could never be a better teaser for a full series, which My Soul to Lose is for Soul Screamers novel series. The many followers of this book picked it mainly for the reason that it is narrated by Amanda Ronconi. They were pleasantly surprised to witness some gripping content as well.
