Mr. Mayfair

Mr. Mayfair is a contemporary romance novel. It is written by Louise Bay. This bestselling author in USA Today is known for writing sexy romance novels. International Player is one of the best so far by Louise Bay. You will also find her Indigo Nights novel to be a good one as well.

Shane East and Saskia Maarleveld paired up for the narration of this novel. It was a good performance overall. However, Shane East sounded like as if he is shouting right at the top of his voice. Normally, he is not like that and here, he sound a bit weird and uncharacteristic.

It was the most shocking news that I ever hear in my life. My boyfriend was getting married. Technically speaking, he is my ex-boyfriend now. A couple of months ago, he told me that he needed a break. I always thought that he was actually my real happily ever after.

On any other day, knowing the fact that he is gone for good from my lie would by the worst thing that could ever happen to me. But, it was just not the case today. It is not just that my boyfriend is getting married, but he is getting married to my best friend. Worst of all, they both have sent me an invitation as well. I wouldn’t attend that wedding for sure even if it is in picturesque Scotland.

But, how about going to the wedding with a man pretending to be my boyfriend?

This story of Beck and Stella would definitely touch all of your emotions. They both look great together but this story has heartbreaking twists. The narration of this audiobook was just above average.
