Many new authors think that writing fantasy is easy stuff because one has to add fake events or incidents. Although the events that are present in fantasy are not borrowed from real life good authors write them in such a style that they come close to life and this is something that attracts the audience in the real sense.
Harlan’s characters look quite real and the listeners can link them to their personalities as well. This raises the emotions of the people who are listening to it so they can never forget the experience provided by the author. The author has a record of producing six consecutive hits in the business so Harlan’s work is the first thing that a fan of literature should select.
No one can doubt the quality of the work and the flow is mesmerizing to a superb level. In the story detective Kat is not interested in dating anyone because she had a bad experience with her boyfriend in the past. Then she gets connected to a dating site because of a friend and she gets a hunch that her ex-boyfriend is also present in one of those anonymous members linked to the site.
She starts getting interested in her life once again like the characters in Stay Close but suddenly she gets back her detective shoes when several murders take place in the city. At this part, the narration by January LaVoy starts getting quicker to show the twist in the novel. Fool Me Once will appear to be paring with this book because of the developing events at the climax. Just keep your fingers crossed till the end and you will get a big surprise.
