A Map of Days is another good book that the author has written.
The audio narration of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is done by Jesse Bernstein. It was a bad narration with no personality added to the characters through different accents. On top of that, there were also issues with the emphasis and timing of the narrator.
This one is an unforgettable story that will make for a thrilling and exciting audiobook experience. In this story, the audience will come across a terrifying family tragedy that set 16 years old Jacob going to an isolated island that was situated right off the Wales coast. He there discovered the ruins of the crumbling Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.
As he explored further that house with its abandoned hallways and rooms, it became quite evident that the children there were a lot more than just peculiar. They all might have been quite dangerous. They might have also been quarantined on a remote island for some definite good reasons. Although, it looked to be quite impossible, still, those children of the house might still be alive as well.
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children has a good story but awful narration, and that summarizes this book pretty well.
