P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast work perfectly when they are together because they produce the most appealing things. Betrayed and Chosen have made many people crazy about the theme of the series. Zoey Redbird is just like other high school students who want to study and have a love affair or two. She was having all of those things under one roof so her life was full of pleasures.
She didn’t want anything else in life but she gets forced to accept the gift of being a vampire. When she gets marked, she is asked to change her school and come to the school for vampires where she would be taught how to become an adult vampire. There is another issue that she comes to know later on i.e not all those who get marked survive the change. So it is a battle for survival first of all after which she will get the training.
The vampire goddess thinks that Zoey is a special one and she too finds out that she has some extra powers. Still, she has to learn how to control those powers because there are students in the vampire school who can easily make her misuse her powers. One thing which Zoey does not like is playing the role of a puppet at the hands of fellow students.
Zoey decides to take things into her own hands and she finally understands that she cannot run from her fate thus she should learn how to get along with these things. Dealing with her crush happens to be the most difficult thing for her because he cannot be stopped from coming close to Zoey all the time.
