Luck of the Devil

Luck of the Devil is the second volume of The Forge trilogy. It is written by Meghan March. She is a highly talented writer and has provided book enthusiasts with some awesome novels. One of the prime examples of her work in the form of a trilogy one is Dirty Billionaire Trilogy. Furthermore, Ruthless King is a beautiful women’s fiction novel from the author.

The narration of this chapter is done by Grace Grant and Joe Arden. The female narrator seemed to be too slow, especially when she was reading for the character of Lachlan.

New Orleans is a place that belongs to me. You don’t know my name but I do control everything you see, including the stuff that you don’t. There is no boundary for my reach and I am the one whose demands are met in every case. I was not looking to take a loan to support my family, but it weirdly amuses me to have it in my debit account. That was needed for having her in my debt. She had no idea at all that she has already caught my attention. I think that she could have been a lot more careful. I am the one who will be owning her. May be to consume her or ever keep her.

This is not a standalone book being the penultimate chapter of the trilogy. You must need to go through the first chapter which lays the foundation for this sequel. The book started a bit slow and ended with a cliffhanger. The narration of the male performer is good and you will love it while the female not that much.
