Jim Frangione makes the best choice for the narration of this chapter. Nobody else could have pulled it better than Jim. It was a complete and perfect performance by all means. You will have the best fun with these novels in their respective audio versions. They are narrated exceptionally well to make a good listen.
John Matthew has managed to come a very long way since the time he was discovered living among mankind. His typical vampire nature was unknown to all. He was taken in by The Brotherhood. There was nobody there who could guess that what exactly his story or history was. Neither, anybody knows about his real identity.
Xhex is the one who has controlled herself for a long time for the feelings she had for John Matthew. But, it was fate then which intervened and her time came when she was able to discover what true love is. She also found and was sure that real love is inevitable just like destiny.
Lover Mine is a good but very long tale. It could have been better if it had less filler content that unnecessarily dragged the story. The performance by Jim was mind-blowing that the majority of the audience enjoyed it.
