Madison Allen is not an ordinary woman rather she happens to be the best photographer in the town. She has made a living through her career and at the same time she has taken care of three children as a single mother. Life was going in the right direction for her when a conversation with her daughter went too far and Madison starts thinking about the opportunities she has wasted for the sake of her children.
There have been multiple men in her life but she hasn’t accepted the proposal because of her children and now her daughter thinks that she has not done enough for them. Then a simple slip from a ladder results in a broken ankle which bounds Madison to the chair.
She thinks that she has been given the time to rethink her life all over again. As she starts moving in the path that she once left, she finds a ray of hope in the form of a man whom she meets for the first time in her life. She thinks that she can finally think of living the life that she once sacrificed because of her children. Although she loves her children just the same leaving her own life wasn’t a good idea after all because she too is in need of a relationship that can support her.
Danielle Steel has discussed the psychology of a single mother in the right way and Dan John Miller has narrated it in the most suitable way. If you are listening to this still don’t leave the option of The Whittiers and Without a Trace because you will crave more when this book will eventually comes to an end.
