Like the Wind

Like the Wind is the first chapter in the AnyDayNow novel series. It is a contemporary romance novel which is written by J. Bengtsson. The Cake Series is her bestselling work. You will find her novels with strong heroines who are mostly quirky and nurturing. The heroes of her books are committed and gorgeous. If you like all of that then her Ripple Effect book is for you. A similar experience can be enjoyed in her Fiercely Emma novel.

Bodhi Beckett was a pop star with fame at the international level. His life changed all of a sudden when he received a letter at his home from his deceased mother.

Bodhi soared right out of control and was deployed to an isolated mansion which was in Southern California’s mountains. He reached there for relaxation and some rest. He needed that bad as he was dealing then with the deception of those people who were the closest to him. But, things didn’t go as planned. All the landscape around him was set ablaze with the wildfire.

He rescued Breeze while escaping the fire. She was a quirky woman, and they both fought hard to find their way to safety. They both hit the road to uncover the real truth about Bodhi’s family. None of them expected that an immensely powerful link would change their lives forever.

Both the main characters come from completely different backgrounds and they met under the worst circumstances. The chemistry between them developed so nicely and that is what you will like the most about this book.
