Krondor the Betrayal is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is the opening book in The Riftwar Legacy novel series. The author of this book is Raymond E. Feist. He is an American author who is highly known for his The Riftwar Cycle series. It has several excellent novels and a few short stories as well. More than 15 million copies of his books have been sold and they have been translated into multiple languages as well. You will be mesmerized by his work in Rides a Dread Legion novel. You will also have a very good literary time with his Magician: Apprentice novel.
The audio narration of the subject title is done by Peter Joyce. The only issue with the performance was with pronunciation at some parts. He was particularly bad with the pronunciation of some names and places. Otherwise, the expression and tonal quality of the author were quite good. The Riftwar was done and dusted. However, there was a fearsome army of renegade humans and trolls who rose in great strength after defeat. Those were the ones who were emboldened by the drug of destruction. There was one thee who could well defy the call to battle.
You will find the author here making a return back to the known fraught realm of magic and wonders. That was the place where war was considered to be a sort of enduring legacy. It was also a place where blood swelled right through the rivers and it nourished the surrounding land as well.
This is a very good first chapter where plenty of novels from the subject series is already available. After listening to more than 10 other novels of the series, you will conclude that this particular chapter is the best of all.
