The story of this novel starts with the introduction of a single mother and then a budding drummer who had a sleazy past. The paths for both must have never crossed. But, when the entire world of Mia West got rocked with a senseless crime then she agreed to spend the summer in hiding at the mansion of her rock star brother. This mansion was in Savannah. One thing that she didn’t expect was the gorgeous drummer who was also living there in the guest house.
His gaze was nothing but a trap. She knows pretty well that what hurts her the most. Leif has two key things in life to focus on. One is his band and then seeking vengeance for everything stolen from him. Mia should never have been a part of the equation but this was bound to happen.
This audiobook got more love for the narrators, particularly for Zachary Webber for such an incredible performance. He could read a menu or a phonebook which will also catch your attention. The story is not bad either and it will make a good read.
