Island of Glass

The Island of Glass is a romance fiction novel. It is the third chapter in The Guardians Trilogy. The book is written by Nora Roberts. She is a specialist with romance novels as more than 225 novels have come out of the pen of Nora in the last many years. The best among those 225 plus novels are The Awakening and Year One.

Saskia Maarleveld is the narrator of this novel. The performer didn’t do good to differentiate between Doyle and Bryan characters with distinct voices. Otherwise, there were no issues in grabbing the accent of the narrator or with the tonal quality overall.

The immortal Doyle is bound to come up against his tragic past. It was the case when the Star of Ice hunt led six of the guardians to Ireland. He shut off his heart some three centuries ago. His warrior is still actually drawn to the wild. There is not a soul who is more familiar than Riley with the wild. It was also bout that wolf that was encapsulated within her.

Riley, an archeologist is not a stranger when it comes to the coast of Clare. But, she discovered herself on a very unusual terrain or unsure footing. She is targeted directly by the dark goddess who is looking for a lot more than just the stars. A lot more was asked than having the blood of the guardians only. It is important now for Riley to go on and fight her practical nature. She had to admit that she had developed a sudden attraction for Doyle.

Nora Roberts is a fantastic storyteller and you will be thoroughly impressed with the Island of Glass. There were some pleasant unexpected things that you would enjoy. No Spoilers.
