Into the Fire

Death started dancing on the streets of the world in the first part of the series by Lindsey Fairleigh and Lindsey Pogue. This time death has expanded its wings even further and no one is safe in his house or on the street. People have been corrupted to their souls because of the virus and humanity and humans are nowhere to be seen. Zoe and Dani were not able to reach each other after the spreading of the virus in After The Ending.
Later after hard toil, they were able to find one another and finally they are together but they are not in the kind of world which would provide them peace of mind. Spending time together heals their wounds a little and soon Dani is once again taken away by the mad guys present around. Zoe just cannot believe that after all that toil she is once again separated from her best friend.

The girl forms a team to rescue Dani before it is too late. Jake an important member of the team soon gets haunted by the fears of the past and the team loses its focus for a while. Zoe remains determined because Dani stands as a symbol of hope for her.

Meanwhile, Dani is taken to the core of madness and here Natalie Duke narrates the situation fabulously. Dani gets horrified to see the changes around her and starts to sink into it slowly. It is deadlier than Ricochet Through Time in the depiction of scenes. The love between two friends is the symbol of humanity that serves as the last hope for mankind.
