Neil Gaiman and Michael Reaves are not just storytellers they are like magicians who capture the attention of the audience with their magical stories. The stories cast some sort of magic on the minds of the listeners and they get spellbound by the series. Let’s hear a new one from the narrator Christopher Evan Welch i.e a story about Joey Harker who seems to be an average man in an average home. The reality is that the entire world is looking for him because he can travel through different dimensions with minimal ease.
This is an inborn power and he does not have to cast a spell or perform any ritual for it. The evil forces in the world want to have this power with the help of which they will easily cross the dimensions and take over everything which exists in the timeline. Joey decides to stop these forces because his life is also depending on the mission but he cannot fight against all of these forces on his own.
Thus Joey gathers a team of himself from different dimensions so that they can stand together against all the evil which exists in the multiverse. The Sandman: Act II and CoralineThe Ocean at the End of the Lane gave several new supernatural creatures to the world of fiction.
This multiverse concept has also introduced us to different timelines and different villains, the hero of course is the same in every dimension. We can say that it’s Joey against the rest of the worlds that exist in the cosmos. Perhaps he alone is ample for all the villains because he has the power which no one has.
