James Reece works for justice and he is ready to go against any force in the world for the sake of justice for innocent souls. The listeners have seen the true capability of the hero in The Devil’s Hand and Savage Son but here they will see the unleash of the beast because Reece is in a really angry mood. Jack Carr provides Reece with another global mission here which is linked to the happenings of the past as well. The story does not start with Reece rather there is another woman who is working for Israel and she is going home after the completion of her mission.
The woman was given an assignment of target killing and she performed it accurately which shows that she was not doing the thing for the first time in her life. After completing the mission, she was going home on a plane when the plane blew up and killed many others along with that assassin.
When Reece saw the entire thing on the news, he was a bit confused because among the victims was the picture of a woman whom Reece thought he would not be able to meet again. Reece thinks that he should look into the matter personally because the woman had secrets linked to Mossad and the CIA.
So it was not just a coincidence that the woman was on the plane and there was a proper reason because of why she has been hiding from Reece all these years. Listen to this part because the narrator Ray Porter has given one of his best performances in this book without any doubt.
