In a Holidaze is a contemporary romance title. It is written by Christina Lauren. Behind this pen name is an authors’ dup of Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings. They are not only longtime writing partners but they are besties as well. They write contemporary romance, contemporary fiction, and teen fiction novels. You will have a good time with the Love and Other Words novel by Christina Lauren. Moreover, The Soulmate Equation is another top-of-the-line novel by the authors’ duo.

The audio narration of In a Holidaze is done by Patti Murin. The performance was slightly monotonous and she over-tried to use an Australian accent which didn’t work.

It was generally the best time of the year but that was not the case for Maelyn Jones. She was living her life with her parents and hated her stagnant job. She just committed a romantic error.

Worst of all, this was supposed to be the last Christmas that Maelyn ones will have at her favorite place in the world. That was the snow-covered cabin in the mountains of Utah and she had spent every holiday there with her family since her birth. There were a couple of other families as well with them on those holidays. She was emotionally melting down when she had to finally move away from that cabin for the last time.

Then, the next thing she knows was the screech of tires and the metal colliding. She woke up in an airplane which was going to Utah and she started her holiday there one more time. There were recurring hilarious disasters one after the other that kept her sent back to the plane. She must look to find out how she could break that weird time loop. Moreover, she must find out how to get her real love underneath the mistletoe.

In a Holidaze will be a light-hearted read. But, there were some loose ends in the sorry. Even worse, the bad narration ruined some good things about this book.
