If You Were Mine is a contemporary romance novel which is the third installment of After We Fall novel series. This one is written by Melanie Harlow. She is the bestselling author of romance in USA. You will find her novels to be quite flirtatious, sexy and with complete fun. A good example of her work is Tie Me Down. Other than this one, you will also love her Call Me Crazy novel.

Renee Givens and Rob Howard narrated this novel. Based on the brilliant performance of the narrators then novel in its audio version is highly recommended.

 It is the tall, dark and handsome type that is what I was looking for. But, the cocky grin with mammoth attitude and ego? It is a definite no. I only decided to hire him so I don’t have to sit again on the table reserved for the singles. It was actually only a pretend. He wasn’t supposed to kiss me. I am a very nervous Nellie and he is a daredevil. I really want to go with putting down the roots and he is always a drifter. I am actually a volunteer as a Girl Scout while he is a big time opportunist with a highly doubtful past.

But, all this was of little to no concern at all when I use to be in his arms. I was sure that he has made some definite mistakes in his life. I was certain that his wounds were quite deep and he is not the one to trust easily. In any case, I really want him to stay for me.

The rent a date theme in this novel is just so lovely and refreshing within the romance category. Do try out this novel and you will not be disappointed.
