Scarlett wasn’t prepared for a relationship rather she was thinking of arranging her life when Gabriel Legend entered it without knocking at the door. Surprising her was not his motive but he surprised her soul even. Getting everything under control was the prime motive for Scarlett and this is one thing which she is not going to have in her life.
Gabriel is one man whom no woman can say no and now he is after Scarlett. She is hot without any doubt but she does not want to show love and affection to any man. If she gets engaged to a man then she might not be able to achieve the goals of her life and she will not allow such a disaster.
In a nutshell, this could be taken as a story in which the female character is confused that what she should do with her life. On one hand, she is thinking of progress and isolation while on the other hand, her heart is making her feel that she craves Gabriel’s presence. If any writer can knit such a story then it is Meghan March who is already famous for Bad Judgment and the epic novel with the name Dirty Love.
These novels have magic in them in terms of love situations which are given extra length. All of it looks more delightful with Joe Arden and Erin Mallon who are really crafty narrators. These two narrators are fully aware of the changes that are brought in the story by the author and this provides them with an extra edge in the story. The narrators don’t slip or lose control of the story and this allows us to understand the story very well.
