Strangers meet and then they disappear for each other, same was expected when Dr. Garrett and Ethan met for the first time. All they wanted was to spend a night together because they weren’t interested in any kind of permanent relationship. Garrett happens to be a physician by profession and she is the only female physician in England which shows her courage to challenge the male members of the family.
She likes her independent life that’s why getting married or being engaged to a man was not her dream in life. When she met the former detective named Ethan, the attraction was quite natural from both sides. They tried to stay away but something in them was forced to get closer.
So they decided that they would spend a night together after which they will move on their separate ways and will never meet each other again in life. That was not so easy because both of them weren’t able to forget the other after that night. When Ethan gets into real trouble and the government wants to eradicate him, it is Garrett who decides to fight for his life and she is not going to let him move away this second time.
Lisa Kleypas’ Devil in Spring and A Wallflower Christmas are utterly matchless books and now this one has been added to that circle as well. Mary Jane Wells has kept the narration nicely balanced in all situations so there is no such thing as an obstacle in the way when someone is listening to this story. Listen carefully because you are going to witness a strong woman who is ready to fight for her love.
