Heir of Fire is the third chapter of the Throne of Glass novel series. It is a beautiful novel with a very addictive tale. This is all thanks to the author, Sarah J. Mass who crafted this storyline with a lot of passion and love. She has been doing some outstanding work where novels like A Court of Thorns and Roses and House of Earth and Blood are proof of it.
Elizabeth Evans’s performance in this novel is par excellence. She sounded quite different from her other novels and it felt that she came in this novel into her own.
Celaena is the one who has come out of a shattering heartbreak and deadly contests. All this came at a hefty cost. She has to travel to a new place to confront the darkest truth of her life. It is a truth related to her heritage that could alter her life forever. Meanwhile, the brutal forces are coming up on the horizon with the intent of subjugating her entire world. So, will she be able to find the courage and strength to fight all her inner demons? Moreover, will she be capable enough to confront the evil that will be unleashed anytime soon? The stakes are pretty high in this one for Celaena. It will be a very tough ask for her to get through.
A lot of people picked up this book with not many expectations. But, they were pleasantly surprised. It has a strong storyline and some top-notch characters. The author presented the audience with emotional, psychological, and intense writing. In short, this novel is worth having a go at.
