Robyn Carr has shown master class skills in many of the novels which the author has carved skilfully. The art of describing the life of a person is something in which the author is quite an expert. Therese Plummer is not an ordinary narrator either and the narration done in the novels like A Dangerous Business and Slenderman are a good example of what the narrator is really capable of. Virgin River has been displayed or portrayed in many novels written by Carr.
This is the place where all the action and romance take place all the time. The novel does not begin at Virgin River rather it starts somewhere in San Francisco. Kelly was having a good time at work and she was rising higher in her profession as a chef. She thought that she was working fine so she started working harder and then one day she collapsed during work. She fainted and received some injuries as well after which she was told by the authorities that she needed some rest.
So she took her to leave and went to her sister who was living at Virgin River.
Her life was initially dull until the day when she met Lief who had recently shifted from L.A. The man was a widower and he was facing serious problems in taking care of his step-daughter. Courtney was the name of the girl and she was real trouble. Kelly wanted to start a new life with Lief and for this, she has to deal with the problems of this young girl. If she fails in helping the young girl then she will never be able to get closer to her step-father.
