Harley is a ticking time bomb that is ready to explode with uncontrollable magic. The only possible answer seems to be finding the Voodoo Queen of New Orleans. They have to make some risky deals, thus balancing the Light and Darkness within her. They have to hurry before she is torn apart to pieces, down to the atom.
She isn’t without other problems though. Katherine has gained untold power and the new Director of the San Diego Coven isn’t friendly either. Wade reckons that Harley can win this battle, she is overconfident, reckless, and stubborn. He has played by the rules for all this time but it ready to bend for this one girl and give her his life.
This can be considered one of the best books of the series. It is a fun and engaging book and the character development is phenomenal. At this point, we are familiar with the characters and the general theme of the story, thus we can understand it better.
