The narration is performed by the reliable Amanda Ronconi. While the material she is working with is not up to par, she has tried her best to give a unique voice to the different characters.
Harley needs to find out what it takes to become an all-powerful Child of Chaos before it gets too late. She has to find the answer before it is too late and her unhinged aunt raises the death toll to the sky.
Harley knows that magical kids are missing and they somehow fit into Katherine Shipton’s plans. She feels more responsible now that she is an official member of the San Diego Coven. She needs to protect the magical world from all sorts of threats.
There might also be a traitor lurking within the Coven. Nonetheless, Harley has other things on her plate, like finding out her parents’ secrets. She also has a little crush on a certain green-eyed, stubborn dude.
This world of the novel is full of adventures, revelations, mystery, and love. The quality does seem to be decreased compared to the previous installments. The author takes forever to get into the main conflict.
