Grave Expectations is the fourth installment in The Ministry of Curiosities novel series. The book is a romance and fantasy novel which is written by C. J. Archer. She is the bestselling writer in USA Today. Murder at the Piccadilly Playhouse and The Watchmaker’s Daughter are two of her best novels.
Shiromi Arserio is the narrator of Grave Expectations novel. It was a reasonably good performance by Shiromi. The performance was particularly good where a good effort was put into expressing the actual emotions of the characters.
The life of Charlie seems to be perfect. She has got each and everything that her heart desires but later, everything went wrong.
Lincoln and Charlie made a return back to London. They returned for discovering a couple of supernatural types who have been murdered. Charlie might just be the next in line. The man who adopted Charlie has now been reported to have escaped from the prison. The members of the committee have just come to learn some news which infuriates them. There is also talk now about sending back Charlie once again and to some far-off place.
But the worst has not come as yet. Charlie gets abducted and was forced to call on one of the victims of the murder. But, she is unable to send him back once again. There was an angry supernatural who was on the loose. The committee was determined to get rid of that creature. The time of Charlie and Lincoln with the Ministry of Curiosities was in grave danger.
The story is fantastic and the characters are amazing. The character of Lincoln might just give you whiplash because of his bipolar moods. But still, the book is fantastic overall.
